Recommendations
The Office of Admissions requires, as part of a candidate’s application, a letter of recommendation from the school counselor, principal, or headmaster from the candidate’s school. In addition, one teacher recommendation is also required. In addition to academic qualifications, recommendations should address the candidate’s personal qualities, such as a student's academic performance over time, character, intellectual motivation, participation in school activities, and established habits of industry and dependability. Required letters of recommendation are submitted through a student's Common Application account.
